The Good
* Straightforward and very easy to use.
* Basically records any audio that you can hear through your speakers/headphones (regardless of if it is online or offline).
* Automatically detects when an audio starts playing and when it ends.
* Allows you to save recorded audio to multiple different formats.
* You can edit ID3 info for each recorded audio.
* You can set it to record for a predefined time and shut down your computer afterwards.
The Bad
* Program window is not re-sizable.

There's no need to call anyone "stupid". People may have different reasons why they like or don't like a given program or are or aren't willing to pay a given price for it. Maybe the -52 rating on your comment should clue you in that your comment just wasn't useful.

Well I'm thrilled to find this here today, especially since my copy of the great Audacity has been on the blink for months, and nothing seems to fix its sorry little sickness. In addition, contrary to what Whiny Dave (#2) sez, there are NOT a plethora (!) of free alternatives out there at all. I know, because when Audacity fell flat on me, I looked long and hard.
Plus, poor ole Dave seems to forget that this cool little Wondershare audio app is free today too, just like all those free ones he reckons he could find but apparently can't, so no one here is forking out anything except a couple of minutes of time. So, hey, I know who *I* think is the stupid one.
Many thanks Wondershare, for another nice addition to the collection, and to GOTD for a surprise Saturday treat.

1. Unzip the package you’ve downloaded from GAOTD;
2. Run Setup.exe in the package to install the software FIRST;
3. THEN run the Reg.reg in the package to register.
P.S.: To ensure the quality of recorded music, please select the right playback device before recording. By clicking on “Test” button, you will hear testing sound if the Playback Device was correctly selected.
Note: Streaming Audio Recorder does not support Vista 64 bit OS.

I am using most of wondershare software..never had a problem .this audio program is easy and straight forward and as #1 mentioned the only downer is sizing window, apart from that I have been using for few weeks without a fault.. by the way none of us here on this site is forced to download or use a giveaway ..it is a bonus to get something free to try then use or not use nothing lost , for the people they keep critisizing and bitching ..If you dont like here log out and do us and yourself a great favour!!
