Save Tube Video a fost chilipirul zilei în 14 noiembrie 2009
Save Tube Video vă permite să descărcaţi orice video online direct din navigatorul web în doar câţiva paşi simpli.
Trebuie doar să descărcaţi un fişier .exe şi să rulaţi procesul de instalare. După instalare, bara de instrumente a navigatorului dvs. va avea două butoane noi – “Save video” şi “Show status”.
Când vizionaţi orice video online, îl puteţi salva în orice locaţie doriţi în PC-ul dvs. făcând clic pe butonul “Save video”. Apoi fişierul video rulează ca de obicei în navigator, în timp ce “copia sa veritabilă” este salvată în directorul ales de dvs. Când faceţi clic pe butonul “Show status” veţi vedea starea actuală a fişierului descărcat. Puteţi întrerupe şi reporni descărcarea fişierului video utilizând câmpul de comandă din fereastra de stare a fişierului descărcat.
Acest program software funcţionează bine cu Internet Explorer şi Mozilla Firefox şi nu îngreunează activitatea navigatorului.
Save Tube Video vă permite deasemenea să descărcaţi două sau mai multe fişiere video în acelaşi timp, un lucru foarte convenabil.
Save Tube Video este indispensabil pentru toţi cei căre iubesc filmele şi în mod special pentru cei care doresc să vizioneze aceste filme offline.

The Good
* Pretty much point and click in terms of user friendliness.
* Built right into browser making it convenient to download videos at a click of a button.
* Can burn videos after they download.
* Gives popup notice when a "downloadable" video is detected.
The Bad
* Browser dependent - only works with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
* Need to keep the (annoying) toolbar - no way to isolate just the necessary buttons.
* Developer claims to be able to save as FLV and AVI yet there seems to be no any way to save as AVI.
* Developer is not very clear on what are all the supported video streaming websites.

Vista sp2 + IE8 + FF3.55:
1) Install, register well;
2) When on Youtube and click on 'Save video', a popup comes out saying "There is no recognized link to video. This happens to my both IE8 and Firefox 3.55.
Final verdict: not for me, uninstall it.
A total waste. Did not download one file for me. It will take over your home page so do a custom install and uncheck the box. I uninstalled after 10 mins.
I found out why I got all the ads on my Google home page the program changers your home page address too http://www.google-feed.net/?CID=2&PID=STV.
Change it back to http://www.google.com and the adds will be gone.

Mate , unfortunately, you have to start the Video Running before the Program recognises the download link. But it does work ..

this soft looks like crap to me, so far I couldn't download anything using it. "There is no recognized link to video" !
