This vendor does not understand that Premuim means best of the available editions, number 1... the ultimate and it should be better than just Professional edition ...

The Premium edition lacks some very basic features that are normally free in most other PDF programs!

You can use most PDF viewers to view and print PDF files in both personal and commercial environments and it is highly likely that the OCR engine they exclusively activate in the Proffessional edition is an always free Open Source OCR engine... Tesseract and it only supports OCR in English language too.
Personally I am not sure this adds anything to my toolbox of PDF manipulation programs...
In addition if you install this over the previous giveaways it leaves the depretiated executables behind... so while not necesary for new program operation it is wise to uninstall previous giveaway installation to remove depretiated files that otherwise just take up space. Also it being completely unecesary but for completeness one can download the Pro editions trial installer and extract the PDFViewer.exe and ps9pro.dll using InnoExtractor and copy them into the giveaways installation folder and create a shortcut for the executable ... it works and is not restricted by any licensing controls but is very basic in viewing and printing options and all standalone free PDF viewers I have tried have far more facilities like viewing page layout styles and the ability to switch off annotations and markup layers when printing etc.
The command line control might be useful to some for scripting some regularly repeated tasks.

No OCR (only available in the Professional version) so you will get recover an RTF document from a pdf only if the pdf was initially converted from an RTF (or may be also Word) file; if you scan to pdf a page from a review or a book, you will get an image after processing with PDF Shaper Premium... :-(.

This most important feature is missing, THE EDITING, without it it will be useless to most users.

Installed on Windows 10 (replacing version 8.7, which ran fine). On running new version, though, receive Windows error message "Some operation could not be performed because the system is out of resources. Close some windows and try again. Close some windows and try again.". No other windows were open. On closing error message, it pops up again (multiple times).
Closed program and ran "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and then "sfc /scannow" in a command window as an administrator. Both commands finished normally, with no issues found.
Also tried uninstalling program completely, and re-installed. The same Windows error keeps popping up.

If anyone want's an always free software, I use PDFill PDF Tools. It has it all.
