Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. A larger installation due to (printer) drivers. It is the original installer from SoftLand.

A Romanian company with address. The software is on the market since many years, a novaPDF Printer Lite was GOTD on December 14, 2006.
Meanwhile there are many PDF print drivers on the market, free and paid. They all do more or less the same: print with the "print command" from any application something in the PDF format.

If you install it - think, that it does not make much sense to have several PDF printers installed. Keep the one, you like most.

Today's software is a rather complete printing system, you can change the behavior with the profile manager:

Printing the current page gives some slight problems with the correct layout - due to the different page size of the print format and the web page:

And I run into a problem with different installed PDF printers. Good to have the reboot...

This software claims to have a additional feature:
"novaPDF supports PDF Linearization. Also called fast web view, PDF linearization allows the creation of PDF files that can be easily viewed via the web browser. Instead of downloading the entire PDF file at once, the PDF will be "streamed" in the browser page-by-page."

Hmmm, what should I say???

I have doPDF8 installed a my PDF print driver. For this test I installed additionally today's software. Guess, what it does? You can't guess.
It captures my doPDF print driver for advertising. no,NO, NO. YOU SHOULD NOT DO THIS!!!! N E V E R

For what I need, the free CutePDF does the job.

This has a few more bells and whistles but not enough to warrant a price tag of $29.99

A search about CutePDF led me to some reviews suggesting to pay attention when installing due to the presence of some unwanted "xtras" or adwares.
(Do not remember exactly the characteristics of those "nasties" but googling will bring up relevant results...)
