* Straightforward and easy to use.
* Users can backup drivers in multiple different ways, including to a standalone executable ("auto-setup package") which allows for restoration of drivers without having to have Driver Magician installed.
* Users have the ability to include or exclude Microsoft Windows drivers.
* Has a built-in tool to help users update drivers and detect unknown devices.
* Has a few extra backing up capabilities, like backing up the registry and My Documents.
* Allows users to restore drivers "silently".
The Bad
* Restoring backed up drivers from standalone executable ("auto-setup package") can be a bit annoying since users are required to input Driver Magician's registration details (name and code) to restore drivers.
* Users can't choose the name of backups.
* If an old backup is of the same name in the same location as the new backup, older backup will be overwritten without prompt.

Well if you do this months from now, are we sure the registration number will still show as valid (since this is a one-day chance to use the registration number they give us now)?

Installed fine on XP-Pro Sp3. Indicates the License to GAOTD. Says it's registered. Looks good BUT... program won't update my drivers. Reports 'Drivers update disabled in unregistered version...'
Well? is it registered or not? Anybody else have this issue?

A few points about Driver Magician:
The primary use for software like this is not to backup your drivers, but instead to search for updated drivers for the devices on your system. Driver backups can be helpful when a new driver doesn't work. (It's quite common for driver update software to find driver updates which are incompatible with your computer).
Driver Magician works reasonably well, but does not have a hope at competing against better driver update software such as Drive The Life - which finds more driver updates, installs driver updates fully automatically and is 100% free.
This program has been around for years, and has been given away several times here before.
