This is the earliest I've logged into GOTD. There are already 2 thumbs-down. Did these people download and evaluate the product and decided in 20 minutes it wasn't any good? Well, I'm about to go to bed and return to grab this later and evaluate it for myself. I anticipate AudioDirector to be worthwhile based on my experience with CyberLink products. I won't, however, give it a thumbs-up till I actually try it!

Hi. The posts from TK (#2 above) and adif are basically correct. I've stumbled upon AudioDirector "LE" at least half a dozen times over the last few years, as it has been frequently bundled with miscellaneous computer hardware I've picked up here and there (most recently with a sound card I'd purchased).
It's essentially a limited-feature "teaser" version (as has been my experience with software from virtually any company bearing the "LE" appellation), designed to let the user whet his or her appetite, and if inspired (or in need of one of the 'pro' features conveniently missing), hopefully cough up some dough for the full version. It's a decent enough (if limited) app as it stands, but honestly, it's very hard to get excited about this type of "giveaway."

I have many video files from family events that I would love to enhance the audio with tools possibly better than Premiere. This looked like the perfect opportunity to try that.
Wrong! AudioDirector Le, it downloaded and installed fine on my Windows 10 64bit video editing box. Went to load a video (mp4) and instantly a dialogue box pops up… “The file format is not supported in this version of AudioDirector. Upgrade now to enjoy all the powerful audio director features:”
Well just out of curiosity I clicked on the link, my browser launches and I am presented with an offer for AudioDirector version 7 for $129.99!
One word “NOPE”. My vote on this… “NOPE!”
