We'll stay with music.

Installed and registered the "ashampoo way" (you don't need to enter private data) without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit system. The setup this time without the GOTD wrapper.

During registration the new Ashampoo® Music Studio 5 is advertised. They are strong in advertising...

A German company with name and address.

We had had the Ashampoo Music Studio 2013 ver. 4.0.7 one year ago on June 23th. Here are the old reviews.

http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ashampoo-music-studio-2013-ver-4-0-7/

The software itself is from September 2013.

Upon start a stylish interface in blue - no other skins. Under preferences a "service channel" where you allow to send information about updates to you. You have to disable the check. There will be no updates for this program any more.

You can extract, burn organize your music files, mix tapes or edit covers.

The help file is better than normal, with some slight problems - it leads in this case in the nirwana. This should never be...

This page cannot be displayed.
Make sure that the Webadress //ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff.htm# is correct.

A Swiss knife for music files with a modern interface - for some maybe too stylish with the animated buttons.

In my short test does what it claims, from converting to extracting.

I didn't test the "burn disk", since I don't remember when I burned my last audio CD or mp3 disk. Must be decades. LOL

A well tested program from Ashampoo.

Uninstalled via reboot. One Swiss knife is sufficient for me.

"BTW, there are many Streaming Audio Recorders, but does anyone know of a good program to download music from the internet or youtube without waiting until the music has played till the end i.e. until it has completed streaming?"

Audials will grab a complete song from any point while it's playing (Audials is occasionally offered here).

If you're using Firefox, Flashgot will download from youtube, or similar sites, once the media has started playing (merely right click its icon and select the format/filesize).

"Strangely enough I am looking for a player and can’t find nothing that can simply play my files without annoying. I guess I’m sticked with good old Irfanview."

Applian FLV Player and Zoom Player are both free and work quite well.
