Works great on XP - why is everyone upgrading to Vista and 7 when XP just plain (still) works - sorry guys but I just don't get it.

Why are you so adverse to the .Net?

It allows developers to create smaller footprint software by springboarding off of such a fantastic development, thereby in the end taking up less space on your PCs resources as the infrastructure is already there...
