After installing, one gets a special offer, just for GOTD users, but when I go there, WOT, ( web of trust) advises me this site has a poor reputation! big red warnings and all, for phishing and malicous content. I didn't pursue on the special offer....

Note to all GOTD members - McAfee's SiteAdvisor.com site gives this program/vendor a clean, green rating (which is good, and means the developer is trustworthy.) The mywot.com site ratings can be easily gamed, so users should not put too much trust/faith in the mywot.com rating process.

PROS:

* Downloaded, installed, activated fine on Vista x64 OS.
* Simple, clear, easy-to-understand, easy-to-navigate GUI.
* Local Help File (including support email address) in program.
* Supports arranging photos by: name, size, date modified.
* Supports photo editing features: text, crop, effects, rotate.
* Supports: add caption effect.
* Has preview window-so user may view photos/edits before finalizing.
* Successfully created flash gallery (with 10 pics) in 15 minutes.
* Quality of resulting flash gallery was good/nice.
* User may save resulting gallery in folder/location of choice.

CONS: - nothing significant to note at the moment.

SUMMARY: - Program produces a good-quality flash gallery. Two thumbs up. Thanks, GOTD and Aneesoft.

As i have mentioned with a previously failed similar download, I don't like flash on my site, but for my small daughters brag book it is a different matter.
This soft downloaded easily, set up quickly and, the best part, this one ran on my system without any hassle, nop email address required and no "funny clauses" experienced during set up, so thanks to everyone.

The developers claim it is simple, it is, I set a half dozen baby pictures up in a matter of minutes. Had I changed the default settings it may have taken longer, but it didn't look too arduous.

Being simple, don't expect too much the effects are interesting, great for a family album, but maybe for more serious stuff you will want to set a straight template.

One niggle I had was when it is finally done and one runs the viewer, the small controls, [using the black default template] are a tad hard to see, partially due to colours and partially obscured by another semi transparent pic when one hovers.

I didn't need it, I doubt if one would but the help file is also simple, does the job but a plus, one doesn't need to work hard to understand it, the English is great.

Just remember, AFTER set up CLOSE it, then run ACTIVATE then reopen, else you may get the "demo" nag at the top of the app.
I have no idea of the "technical aspects" I'll leave that to Ashraaf, all I know is it works, it is easy and suits me just fine.
So, for me, finally a simple, easy, quick, flash viewer that is a keeper.

This program installs quickly, is very easy to use, is nice as eye-candy, and overall seems like a very nice program.
Adding photo's and making a "presentation" is very easy to do.

I found only one thing that's less good.

there are 21 beautiful templates, ( although they look more or less the same) but for more templates there is a nice offer for 50% off. However, when one visits the site, Web of Trust gives a phising and Malicious content warning for the site.


( there might be a double post, sorry mods, pls fix that. I had bad-gateways and it doesn't seem to post, so I try again ;-)
