Creați meniuri HTML/JavaScript redutabile, independente de navigator pentru paginile web în câteva minute. I was pleased and interested to see software useful for web developers on GOTD, especially from an established company with a website which reflects experience and strong customer interaction. So I downloaded AllWebMenus and was intending to give it a trial.
Unfortunately it was a very messy install on Windows XP SP3. I won't go into all the details, but suffice to say that this program writes to system32. It also did something DLL-registration-related to trigger a frenzy of activity by the built-in Windows installer, which had to be cancelled 20-odd times. What a mess. I cancelled out of the AllWebMenus installation.
A web menu builder being sold in 2010 should never touch system32. It should install cleanly and quietly into the folder selected by the owner of the machine it is being installed on. Sorry, I can't offer a review of AllWebMenus' usefulness.
Still, I hope GOTD will offer software in this category again in future.
