Installed and registered without problems on a Win 10 Pro 64bit system. A clean install.
A company without name and address.
This is something new as GOTD. It is an "oscillator" with definable wave patterns to create something like wallpapers or background. The idea is not new, there have been many programs in the past of this categories. I have used this more than a decade ago to make the background of web pages.
The software is one year old.
Upon start a (at the first glance) complex interface opens. You don't need to understand anything about harmonics, wave patterns or whatsoever.
Just use the presets, play around with the sliders and watch the newly produced picture. If you found settings, which you like, you can save these and produce a BMP, JPG or PNG of this output.
Some settings like transparency, JPG quality, no language or update settings found.
It is simply fun, does not harm your system and you can produce something unique as your new wallpaper.

(*) I hope you understand, that I will keep my signature "uninstalled via reboot". I understand that this leads from time to time to questions. This was, what I wanted - readers should rethink system security.
If somebody with the needed background wants writes a (readable) detailed explanation of this process and uploads this to a public place, I am willing to provide a link to this paper. I promise, the questions about this will come back from time to time, despite of an existing explanation.

Loved it and will play for hours with it. I can see it being in valuable along with other photo software. As always I am never quite sure why there are negative thumbs down when its only just been put up here???? Maybe they know something we don't. Or its not thumbs down because its a bad software its most probably that they don't want it. TX GAWOTD for a gift that is invaluable to me.

I've wondered about the "thumbs down" rating for years. How can people give a thumbs down in such short a time, when there is barely any time between the time it's released on GOATD page? Surely it was never really installed, put through it's paces enough to give the software a valid review such as Karl does.
What I'm guessing is:
This software is not something I can use, so I will give it a thumbs down.
This software is from a company I've never heard of, so I will give it a thumbs down.
I did not understand how to use this software and I don't want to take the time to read how to use it, so I gave it a thumbs down.
This software is not compatible with Windows XP, so I will give it a thumbs down.
This software had a spelling mistake, or was not written in perfect English, so I will give it a thumbs down.
There are many alternative free software suggestions, so I will give it a thumbs down.
I did not bother to install the software, but I read that Karl didn't like it so I will give it a thumbs down.

Chris is right. The thumbs up/down is meaningless. The intent was to rate the software, but due
to the abuse and misuse, it unfortunately meaningless. A sad state, since this reflects unfairly
on the developers.
Unfortunately, you would probably have to have registered users to make this reliable.

Installed and runs fine on Windows 8.1
This is a very nice program which should allow anyone to create interesting and beautiful images for use as web page backgrounds, etc.
You are given enormous control over shape, colour, etc. Reminds me a lot of many fractal generation programs.
Will definitely be keeping this.
I can imagine many hours wasted playing with it!
